Schneider Electric has announced that it is expanding its single-phase APC Smart-UPS portfolio to include a Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery option. Such an offer will provide customers with a product that has greater resiliency and performance, simpler maintenance and longer shelf-life, and a lower cost of ownership – 53% reduction in maintenance and associated costs.
